Camden Friends Meeting

About Us

Quarterly Meeting
Camden Friends Meeting was established in 1795, in Camden just south of Dover, Delaware. Worship is held Sundays at 10:00 AM in an historic meeting house built in 1805. Mid-week Worship is held at 7:00 PM on Wednesdays in the Library of the Gathering Place.

We are located just south of Dover, Delaware, in Camden, Delaware, on the Mid-Atlantic coast of the United States. We are an unprogrammed Quaker meeting, part of the Southern Quarter of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Society of Friends.

Starting in the Fall of 2006, a new worship group under the care of Camden Meeting began meetings in Lewes, Delaware. Now the group meets on Sundays at 10:00 AM in the Quiet Room of Cadbury CCRC at Lewes. Cadbury is a Quaker guided continuing care retirement community in Lewes. All are welcome!
